In many cases, people who fail in the life’s vocation fail because they cannot get along with people. If we have difficulties handling human relationship, we will have a lot of unnecessary stresses and problems.

It is important to note that you are not living by yourself in an island. Regardless of where you are going or what you are doing, you will often see people coming along your path. Let us try our best to minimize problem or to give problem to the people in our surround. Let us live and work together in peace and harmony.

If you often find yourself having the below problems then this article is good for you.

The problems:
1) People often misunderstood you.
2) People don’t like to be with you – you do not have many friend.
3) You cannot stay in a church or a company for long.
4) People often makes thing difficult for you.
5) Nobody likes to talk to you, they are avoiding you.

I have listed out 10 attitudes that destroy human relationship. You can take look and excess yourself. You can also give a rating of 1-10 (1 being to lowest) for these attitudes. By doing this, it will give you a good picture of which needs to be improved.

10 Attitudes that destroy human relationship:

1) Proud - unfriendly, arrogance, very rude, look down

Do not keep talking so proudly or let your mouth speak such arrogance, for the LORD is a God who knows, and by him deeds are weighed. 1 Samuel 2:3

Before his downfall a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. Proverbs 18:12

2) Selfish - Concerned only with oneself

An unfriendly man pursues selfish ends; he defies all sound judgment. Proverbs 18:1

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Philippians 2:3

3) Insensitive

Lacking in sensitivity to the feelings or circumstances of others; unfeeling. Lacking in responsiveness: insensitive to the needs of the customers.

4) Calculative

Extremely careful, often cunning estimation and planning of likely outcomes, especially to advance one’s own interests.

5) Inconsiderate

Thoughtless of others; displaying a lack of consideration

6) Taking advantage

Drawing advantages from others mistake.

7) Making use - having ulterior motive

Making use of other people to achieve your objective.

8) Gossip – Rumor or talk of a personal

A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret. Proverbs 11:13

A perverse man stirs up dissension, and a gossip separates close friends. Proverbs 16:28

9) Flattery - Excessive or insincere praise

For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Romans 16:18

You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed–God is our witness. 1 Thessalonians 2:5

10) Critical - Inclined to judge severely and find fault (no tolerance)

Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Matthew 7:1-2
