Do not limit God March 23, 2007

What is wisdom? Wisdom is simply realizing that God does not confine to the size of our brain. We are limited but God is limitless. Do not let our understanding, lack of fund, ability, modern science or technology limit God. If we tend to limit God by our own brain, we are unable to cruise through the adventurous and exciting Christian life.
Honestly, how can we understand the wonders of God? Look at Job in the Old Testament, God asked him a series of question which he has no clue at all!
Question:
1) Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Job 38:4
2) Who marked off its dimensions? Job 38:5
3) Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb? Job 38:8
4) Have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place? Job 38:12
5) Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep? Job 38:16
6) Have the gates of death been shown to you? Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death? Job 38:17
7) Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth? Tell me, if you know all this. Job 38:18
In total, God bombarded him with more than 70 questions. Job was speechless, dumb founded and no answer! Similarly, none of us are able to answer those questions as well. Then why are we trying to put God in a box. Look at the miracles, signs and wonders….how can we explain? Basically, no explanation! The answer is simple, one word - GOD.
Let the bird out of the cage and see how high and how far it can fly. Do not limit God! Allow God to work in you and see how He can bring you to a new height that you have never been.
