Revival in JB? June 28, 2007
Posted by Han in : Current Affair , trackbackReport from the local newspaper shows that there has been a reduction in crime rate in JB as of this week. JB is a city located right at the end of Peninsular Malaysia. I believe this is due to the many prayers offered from churches in Johor and also around Malaysia. Apart from that, there has also been a strong presence of policemen patrolling the streets of JB.
The campaign which was organized by Tionghua Federation of Johor Bahru (JB) to gather 100000 signatures was a success. In fact, they have far reached that numbers. The churches in JB also participated and mobilized its members to sign, which saw them collected more than 11000 signatures.
But far beyond the outward crimes, robberies and rapes, we see a very serious deteriorating spiritual condition in JB. People are hungry. They are lost. They need the Lord! Therefore, let us continue to pray for JB. Not just for the safety but the spiritual condition in JB. PRAY FOR REVIVIVAL IN JB. Ask God to heal this land. Let the people humble themselves and pray and seek God. Let the people repent and ask God for forgiveness.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
So, is it possible? Revival in JB? Yes, though the devil meant for bad but God has another plan. Now, the churches are more united and Christians all around the country are praying. And I believe there is much prayers offered for JB in the past week compare to any other part of Malaysia. As long as we continue to pray with great perseverance (without giving up), revival will come. Amen.

Praise God that even though JB had to undergo a series of unfortunate events , one thing for sure from here we could see how when required, Johorean can still stand up strong as one united voice. The overwhelming participation of all churches in JB to pray unitedly for this land had undeniably sent the legions fleeing! However, we cannot rest on our laurels just because some statistics shows some improvement. Indeed, the deteriorating spiritual condition in JB CANNOT be taken lightly & the spiritual battle against the power of darkness for our beloved JB must PRESS ON! What we seek for JB is of ETERNAL peace & tranquility & not of temporal ie just for couple of months. What’s gonna happen when the extra policemen on patrol are recalled back? JB needs real healing & the only way is through PRAYER for REVIVAL! As we approach the 50th Independence Celebration for Malaysia let us take the opportunity to pray once again unitedly for JB & for her people. When God is for us who can be against us!

City Harvest has officially started a church in JB. They have about 100 plus people. :) they are all UTM students, i believe they should be very dynamic. 4 of them has went to the Bible School in CHCS. More churches are coming up down south!
i heard Skudai Harvest also growing very fast! Pray that the Lord will send His laborers, if Jesus said that the harvest is ready 2000 years ago, it’s even more ready now!
It’s great to hear City Harvest started a church in JB and Skudai Harvest is growing very fast. We also noticed that churches in JB starts to build big seating capacity building. Well, let’s pray for more churches saturated in different part of Johor and truly let the revival fall in this land. Please pray for JB.
