The Pastor had shared about listening to God and obeying the Lord’s voice. The young man couldn’t help but wonder, “Does God still speak to people?” After service he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message. Several different ones talked about how God had led them in different ways. (more…)

Spiritual Rest May 25, 2007
Posted by Han in : Relationship with God , add a commentOne of the most descriptive pictures that I can give about spiritual rest is a woman carrying her child in both her arms sleeping soundly in the midst of heavy rain and great storm. This picture speaks a lot about our relationship with God. In fact this is what I called the highest level of spiritual rest; that is to REST IN GOD. We are like the baby being carried by God safely and soundly in the midst of a turbulence world. (more…)

A Soldier, an athlete and a farmer (Part 2) February 27, 2007

No one serving as a soldier gets involved in civilian affairs – he wants to please his commanding officer. Similarly, if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not receive the victor’s crown unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. 2 Timothy 2:3-7 (more…)
