Posted by Han in : Life's Challenge , comments closedIchabod? What kind of name is this? In 1 Samuel 4:21 the daughter-in-law of Prophet Eli named her child Ichabod. Ichabod means “inglorious” or “the glory of God has departed from Israel”. What a name! I believe no parents would want to name their child Ichabod. Many want to give their child a good name. But as for the daughter-in-law of Prophet Eli it must be done rather unwillingly and sadly. What causes her to give such a name - inglorious? Normally in the Old Testament, a name depicts something, an event or certain happening. (more…)

There are no modern infrastructures – roads, highways and beautiful bridges. Wilderness – a tract of wasteland /dessert - no lights or signboards, total darkness! Indeed, worrying will not help; this is something that we know but often we are still caught doing it. Some tend to worry over small little thing in their life.
