One of the most descriptive pictures that I can give about spiritual rest is a woman carrying her child in both her arms sleeping soundly in the midst of heavy rain and great storm. This picture speaks a lot about our relationship with God. In fact this is what I called the highest level of spiritual rest; that is to REST IN GOD. We are like the baby being carried by God safely and soundly in the midst of a turbulence world. (more…)

One day, God handed 2 people a piece of blank paper and told them to write in that piece of paper what they wanted Him to do. The first one wrote a list of things that he wanted God to do and the second one wrote nothing. Nothing! Both handed the piece of paper to God and God asked the second one why didn’t you write anything? The second one answered, “God, I left it blank for you to tell me what you wanted me to do.” (more…)
